RBC offers free biblical counseling from trained counselors for our community.

We also offer counseling training for those interested in becoming a part of our team of counselors.

As it concerns making disciples, we believe that our children are our first priority and opportunity.

If you have questions about our children’s ministry, you can contact our children’s ministry coordinator from our contact page.

Student Ministries is for our youth, to disciples them in following hard and effectively after Jesus.

We desire to present them as approved workmen who need not be ashamed in any good word or deed. (2 Timothy 2:15)

We typically go through a young adults’ book and Bible study while building fellowship and accountability through the important yet often dangerous journey of growing up in today’s culture.

Small groups are teams of disciples banding together to live on mission in Coastal Georgia and to make an impact in our families, neighborhoods, and places of work and play.

They are typically composed of 4-6 families and are based somewhat-geographically.

Discipleship Groups are groups of 3–5 men or 3–5 women who meet together 1-2 times/month for focused conversations of substance.

Like everything at RBC, these groups grow out of our mission to make much of God and to make disciples.

Redeemer Baptist Church

Mission and Partnership

Prayer

Each Lord’s Day, we hold a prayer meeting (9:00 am – 9:20 am before Sunday School). Additionally, on the second Sunday of each month, we hold an evening service of prayer and singing (5:00 pm – 6:00 pm), and our Small Groups also spend time praying together each week.

We believe that prayer is an essential ingredient in the life of our church whereby we seek the company and power of our Triune God for the glory of his name and the good of others. We are always seeking opportunities to meet together to pray.

Local Missions

We are called to make disciples of all nations, and that includes our own (especially our own city). One of the most significant local ministry efforts that we support is the Rincon Pregnancy Care Center. We are committed to the preservation of life and are grateful to God for the board, leadership, and volunteers at this life-saving ministry.

We also have a blossoming prison ministry that we are hoping God will be pleased to grow and strengthen in the coming years.

We also have an ongoing evangelism ministry where members make plans to meet up and pass out gospel tracts in the downtown Savannah area (namely, Forsyth Park, and some of the more popular city squares).

Foreign Missions

Redeemer Baptist Church is committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. In 2013, we helped establish a seminary in Egbe, Nigeria (Institute of Pastoral and Theological Training) in order to provide theological training to local pastors in order that they may begin (or continue) much-needed works of reformation in their churches.

Presently, we are also in the process of sending out a lovely couple from our membership to permanently join an already established work in Cluj, Romania. If you would like to learn more about this work and opportunities to support it, follow this link.

Each year we designate one Lord’s Day as a Missions Conference intended to update church members on each of the missions we are supporting and to stoke the fires of missions at RBC.

Partnerships

Redeemer Baptist Church is a founding member of the Reformed Baptist Network (2016).
The purpose of RBNet is to glorify God through fellowship and cooperation in fulfilling the Great Commission to the ends of the earth.
